The „large alpine flight“ begins as with the „small alpine flight“. After flying over the Kaprun valley, the flight route continues to Austria´s largest mountain, the Grossglockner 3.798 meters high. We fly along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, over the Hochtor at approx. 3.000 meters altitude to Heiligenbut, further south, in order to enjoy this impressive experience of the Grossglockner, Pasterze (with a length of 8 km the longest glacier in Austria), Johannisberg, Franz-Josefs-Höhe and the Margaritzenspeicher. We are unable to fly over the Glockner summit due to the National Park.
Note: Due to adverse weather conditions (e.g. strong wind) the route will be changed!
