Frequently asked questions about Alpenflug sightseeing flights

We kindly request that you arrive 20-30 minutes before the agreed departure time.

If the weather is so bad that flight safety can no longer be guaranteed or, for example, the desired sights are shrouded in clouds, the sightseeing flight will be postponed to another date free of charge. The decision as to whether or not a flight takes place is the sole responsibility of the pilot in charge. If a flight cannot be carried out, Alpenflug will inform you of this by the morning of the agreed flight at the latest. However, we will always try to make the decision the day before.

• Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and season (the helicopters are heated). Please do not wear loose clothing such as scarves, wide coats, or headgear that could get caught in the rotor blades.
• Camera (cell phones are also permitted)
• Sunglasses, if desired
• Passport or ID card for flights to or from international airports

Passengers may only reschedule an appointment if they request to do so at least 4 days before the agreed date. In the event of a last-minute cancellation, 50% of the flight price will be charged.

If it is compatible with the flight time, other passengers, and, of course, legal requirements, Alpenflug is happy to accommodate special requests. Please let us know a few days in advance by phone or email so that the flight can be planned accordingly.

That depends primarily on the length of your sightseeing flight. As a rule of thumb, you should allow approximately 30 minutes before and 20 minutes after the flight. We kindly ask you to allow sufficient time. Please understand that there may occasionally be slight delays in the departure time.

For a sightseeing flight to take place, at least 2 people must have booked for that date. If you have booked a helicopter exclusively, a maximum of 5 people can fly with you. Children aged 2 and above can take part in the flight.
A flight by plane is possible with a minimum of two passengers or a minimum price for 2 people.

Vouchers for private flights

The personal suitability of passengers regarding their state of health and weight is a prerequisite for participation in the flight.

Please inform us briefly before the flight in the following situations:

• Persons over 2 meters in height
• Persons weighing more than 110 kg
• Pregnancy
• In the event of physical or mental limitations
• Balance disorders
• Dives performed within 48 hours prior to the flight

All flights are commercial flights and are subject to the guidelines of the aviation safety authorities. The helicopters in service have passenger insurance.
