After reaching a flight altitude of around 2,400 meters, the route leads along the glacier on the Kitzsteinhorn into the Kaprun Valley. The impressive Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden reservoirs are clearly visible amid the mountains. The view of Lake Zell provides an impressive panorama at the end of the flight.

Grand Alpine flight

The “Grand Alpine Flight” takes you over Zell am See to Kaprun. The flight route then continues to Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner, at an altitude of 3,798 meters. The Grand Alpine Flight takes you along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road over the Hochtor Pass at an altitude of approximately 3,000 meters to Heiligenbut, then further south around the Grossglockner, the Pasterze (Austria's largest glacier at 8 km long), the Johannisberg, the Franz-Josefs-Höhe, and the Margaritzen reservoir.

Flying over the Glockner summit is no longer permitted due to the national park.

Panoramic flight

The panoramic flight takes you over Zell am See and Kaprun to the Kitzsteinhorn and the Großglockner. It then continues over the Hundstein to the Steinernes Meer. This is flown over at the Riemannhaus and continues over the Funtensee to the Königsee. The route leads along the Gotzenalm to the Kehlsteinhaus – Hitler's summer residence. The city of Salzburg comes into view on the right as you return to Lake Königssee.

The panoramic flight takes you along the famous Watzmann East Face to Wimbachgries, Berchtesgaden, and finally back to Zell am See via the Hirschbichltal valley, the Kallbrunnalmen alpine pastures, and Saalfelden.
